Innsbruck/Igls Olympic bobsleigh run
On the morning of the event day, there will be an athlete
excursion with TV accompaniment to the Innsbruck/Igls Olympic
ice track. There, our top athletes will experience the thrill of a
summer bobsleigh ride up close in the artificial ice chute where
exciting bobsleigh, luge or skeleton world cup competitions are held.
The bobsleigh track, one of the most modern of its
kind worldwide, has an overall length of 1,270 m and has 14 bends
including the famous 360-degree 'Kreisel' corner. The artificial ice
surface is approximately 5,500 m². The maximum curve height is 7 m and
the total length of cooling tubes is about 80 km. Speeds of around 100
km/h are also achieved in summer bobsleigh operation!
The shuttle to the locations will be handled as
usual by our reliable partner Four Seasons Travel.

Alpengasthaus Heiligwasser
The bobsled ride is followed by lunch at the
Alpengasthaus Heiligwasser with a magnificent panoramic view over the
Alpine-Urban Olympic metropolis of Innsbruck. The place of power high
above Innsbruck with its church is a well-known place of pilgrimage
and the inviting sun terrace welcomes you to linger.
