Nordkette-Trophy

The Nordkette-Trophy is worth a prize of € 8.000,- which will be awarded to an athlete achieving No. 1 annual world best list of World Athletics in pole-vault or long jump. If two or more athletes achieve a new world leading mark, the Trophy will be split. With additionally individually agreed performance bonuses, only the highest-endowed premium is paid out!

In case the Nordkette-Trophy is not won, the advertised amount will roll over for the next year.

This year, on the occasion of the anniversary, a special "Nordkette Paralympic Trophy" will also be awarded for a new Paralympic world record in the long jump!

The current world record by Markus Rehm/GER stands at an incredible 8.72 m!
