Every year we find the world's elite in the pole vault and long jump (including Olympic, World and European champions) on a unique, 71 m long and 30-ton mobile construction front of the Golden Roof in Innsbruck and compete in a thrilling world championships qualification at the highest level for the coveted Golden roof shingles!

Incomparable atmosphere in a historic setting, perfect pitch, great show and attractive, modern world-class sport on par with the world stars of athletics make this event for all ages at this unique - and all free of charge!

At this year's seventh Int. Golden Roof Challenge despite the simultaneous streaming football match Deuschland-Austria and admire a rain front at the start of the competition over 4.000 enthusiastic fans, Innsbruck's old town to the athletics world elite in the historic surroundings.  

They were rewarded with a high-class contest, stunning duels and incomparable atmosphere!

In the run were at the 2nd Euregio-school championship, the best young long jumper inside from North, East, South Tyrol and Trentino determined. More than 7.000 students from over 200 schools in the Europaregieon taken part at the qualify for the grand final at the Golden Roof.
